The Stamina InMotion II Manual Treadmill is a self powered treadmill that folds for easy storage and is quiet in use. Distance, speed, time and calories are displayed on the battery operated monitor. The frame is heavy duty steel with 8 and 10 degree incline positions. Cheaper than an electric treadmill the Stamina InMotion retails at just $139. So is it worth buying at this price or would you be better saving for a more expensive electric treadmill? Let’s see what customers who bought this treadmill thought of their purchase.

71 customers reviewed the treadmill at Amazon and of these 25 gave it 5 stars and 26 four stars so that’s a good start! The treadmill was reported as easy to assemble and adaptable for a 5′ 6″ person up to someone who is 6′3″. although one person who was 6′2″ reported that they found it awkward to use as they had to bend down too much to hold onto the handrails. The manual motion takes some getting used to and is harder than using a power driven treadmill but gives a good workout, which is the important thing to consider. It folds up easily and compactly to store away and is sturdy although it only has basic readouts and features as you would expect for this price. It also needs some adjustment when you first use it. You will need to walk on it and adjust the belt until it it secure and doesn’t slip sideways.

The workout you will get with this manual treadmill is reported to be good as you have to work harder to keep the belt moving that on an electric treadmill. It’s reported to be a little noisy and you’ll need silicone spray to keep it lubricated and help cut down the noise.

Overall the quality of the Stamina InMotion II Manual Treadmill was good and the construction sturdy. Although a bit noisy it gives a good workout and is good value for money. If you don’t want to pay a lot for an electric treadmill this manual treadmill could be right for you.

It can be a hard decision to buy your own treadmill and I know for a fact that fitness equipment have a lot of quality differences between them. Even though almost 30 million people around the world are using their own treadmills to stay in shape it is a good idea to not trust everything you read online about them. Many of the texts written are written by marketers that have advertisements on their websites. So in my opinion it would be a good idea to just check out the sellers websites that a list of the functions and the specifications of the treadmill fitness equipment you are about to buy.

Many people who are looking for treadmills fitness equipment are usually people who read a lot of magazines. The kinds like the Runner’s World. Treadmills that they are promoting are usually the models that the manufacturers have agreed on sending them. Might not be a good idea to make a buying choice from a review which had only six or five different models to start with. You might think that they have chosen the best of the best to be reviewed but usually that is not the case. What they are doing with these treadmill fitness equipment buying guides is that they contact a bunch of manufacturers saying that they are willing to do a comparison on treadmills. The manufacturers see this as a good place to get some almost free advertisement out and they get their flagship model and fine tune it to it’s best. Add a little cushioning and so on to make it a little bit better than the one that they are selling. You can’t really trust these treadmill reviews unless it is clearly stated that the facility doing the review has bought the fitness equipment themselves using a ghost buyer so that they are sure that they are reviewing the exact same machine that everyone else will be using.

Buying a treadmill can be a chore.

You should probably never trust anyone who is trying to sell you anything but the least when it comes to buying a treadmill. I know that it can be hard and I have done it but just start ignoring every sales pitch that people make. If you believe what they say you might be buying something that is not worth it. The next thing you know is that you are buying a new treadmill belt because the old one broke in to two pieces. That folding treadmill that they sold you is actually folding in two pieces and you have no idea how the get the parts together again.

I have had my share of bad choices when it comes to buying a treadmill and to be honest I still don’t know what I did wrong. There are times when I have listened to the buyer and there are times that I paid no attention at all to what he was saying. Once the shop assistant told me to buy Proform treadmills since they were the best and most durable models that were out there. I did not realise that he was wearing a Proform t-shirt and a hat. I bet that Proform also paid his summer cottage because all the Proform treadmills that I have had broke down just after the warranty became void.

Ironman is another popular treadmill make and you read a review at Ironman Treadmill Review

There is no way of telling what is the best treadmills to buy. You just need to make your own decisions and stand behind them without any hesitation. No one else can know what is your particular use and that way they can’t tell you what is the best choice when you are buying a treadmill.
